As the first month of the year comes to an end, we want to highlight some of the great makeup work our students have created! Take a look at our best January Student Showcase submissions!
Felicity Cahill: Fire
Felicity is a student in QC’s Master Makeup Artistry course, Pro Makeup Workshop, and Portfolio Development course! This month, she helped a client create an impressive fire smokey eye.
James Garner: My Growth as an Artist
James is a current student in QC’s Master Makeup Artistry course. Here’s what he has to say:
Over the past year my skill and technique have progressed, and I couldn’t be any prouder! Here are a few of my personal portraits: a soft and natural daytime look, a look for a glamorous night out, and a bold and daring look.
Miguel Melendez Rivera: Halloween Calendar
Miguel is currently enrolled in both of QC’s Special FX Makeup Course and Makeup Artistry Course! Here’s what he has to say about his gory and impressive submission:
When creating this work, the model wanted a little mermaid takeover, therefore I decided to create a mermaid trying to sew her legs together so that she can return to the sea. The products I used included 3rd Degree makeup for the holes in the leg, Skin Illustrator’s FX Palette, and lots of blood.
Ashley Riley: Face Painting
Ashley is currently completing QC’s Master Makeup Artistry course. Here are some photos of the face painting she created on her friends and family this month. Take a look!
We are so proud of these QC students and their excellent work. Let us know in the comments which student showcase submission is your favorite!
