Nathan Johnson
Executive Makeup Artist
Nathan is a New York City-based celebrity makeup artist with over 20 years of industry experience. Nathan has worked on over 300 famous faces including Alicia Keys, Lea Michele, Paul McCartney, and more. His work has been featured in Glamour, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, and more. He was a makeup artist on seasons 4 and 5 of Project Runway.
As the executive makeup artist for QC, Nathan is responsible for ensuring that all the course materials are in line with best industry practices. He’s also featured in the instructional videos for all of QC’s makeup courses.
Chantal Mariani
Professional Makeup Artist
Chantal Mariani is a New York-based professional makeup artist with over 40 years of industry experience. She’s had the pleasure of working on films, daytime dramas, news programs, and talk shows. She’s also enjoyed doing print work for models and actors.
She has worked with many celebrity clients, including James Earl Jones, Patrick Stewart, Christopher Reeve, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Dolly Parton.
Chantal also chaired the Education Department for the East Coast Union of Film and Television Makeup Artists, and was the makeup instructor in several of New York City’s leading schools.
Michele Mulkey
Special Effects Expert
With 14 years of experience working as a special effects makeup artist and prop maker in New York City and Los Angeles, Michele is the perfect tutor to introduce you to the world of special effects!
Throughout her career, Michele’s work has been featured in such feature films as The Last Samurai, The Chronicles of Riddick, Sin City, Seed of Chucky, Constantine, and more. She has also worked on CSI Miami, Firefly, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and Charmed.
