Transitioning the Look to Evening Makeup

Let’s Recap

Reapply primer to make the eyelids pop

Nathan starts his transition by reapplying a small amount of primer to the lids, over the pre-existing color. This makes the new color stand out more on the lid and stay in place. Using a product with professional pigment will allow the product to do the work for you.

Brighten up the eyes with highlighter

Use a small amount of highlighter on the brow bone to brighten up your client’s eyes. Nathan uses the tip of his finger to warm up the product and blend in into the skin for a soft glow.

Don’t forget to add highlighter to the center of the lids as well—this makes your original champagne color stand out!

Smoke out the eye with dark shadow and liner

Nathan uses a fluffy eyeshadow brush to lightly blend black shadow into the crease. This gives the look of a quick and simple smoky eye. Then, use the same shadow and an eyeliner brush to make the lashes look thicker at the base.

Nathan also goes in with a gel liner to emphasize his client’s beautiful eyes!

Keep the lips moisturized

Adding a small amount of color to the lips will tie the whole look together. Use a product that is moisturizing to keep her pout looking plump and kissable!
